Our annual Pride events in and around Waterbury are dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies can come together to celebrate their identities openly and proudly. Through a range of activities, performances, and educational programs, we strive to foster a strong sense of community while also raising awareness about the rich cultural heritage of LGBTQIA+ individuals. We actively encourage fellowship and support among businesses, professionals, and individuals within the LGBTQIA+ and allied communities, promoting unity and solidarity.

By providing positive role models and challenging prejudice, both within wider society and within our own communities, we work towards creating a more accepting and tolerant environment for all. Our ultimate goal is to foster communication, understanding, and mutual support among LGBTQIA+ persons and their allies, paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable society. Additionally, the eventual creation of an LGBTQIA+ Pride Center in downtown Waterbury will serve as a valuable resource hub and safe space for community members to access support, resources, and information year-round.
