Drag Gospel Fest
3rd Annual Sunday, June 1
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

A welcoming ceremony featuring drag performer Summer Orlando. Admission free! Refreshments and conversation to follow in the church hall. Wheelchair accessible.

Mayor For the Day
3rd Annual Tuesday, June 3
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Waterbury City Hall, 235 Grand St, Waterbury, CT (Google Maps Link)
Begins in front of City Hall and continues indoors in the Veterans’ Memorial Hall. Will feature guest speakers honoring “Mayor for the Day” Lynn Discenza of Waterbury PFLAG and Stonewall Speakers, with refreshments to follow. Free admission! Wheelchair accessible via ramp at west side of building & elevator just east of main stairs.

OUTstanding Art Crawl!

A series of cultural exhibits in locations a few blocks apart. Crawl throughout downtown for drinks (no alcohol except as noted above), snacks, and Pride art & culture appreciation. Free admission! Limited accessibility at YMCA; all other venues are wheelchair accessible.

Pride Film Fest – Will & Harper
1st Annual Thursday, June 12 AND Tuesday, June 24
Times 5:45 PM – 7:45 PM
Location: Silas Bronson Library, 267 Grand St, Waterbury, CT (Google Maps Link)
Movie screenings focused on LGBTQIA+ representation, followed by thoughtful discussions with trans speakers. For this year’s theme the focus will be on trans representation. A different film each night: Will & Harper on June 12 and Unfightable on June 24. Free admission! Wheelchair accessible.

Pride Open Mic Night Fundraiser
3rd Annual Saturday, June 14
9 PM – Close
Location: Cuppa Tea, 102 Grand St, Waterbury, CT (Google Maps Link)
An evening of poetry, music, and more! Kitchen will be open & smokeless hookah will be available. Half of your $15 cover fee ($10 for performers) goes directly to supporting Greater Waterbury LGBTQIA+ Pride events! Wheelchair accessible.

LGBTQIA2S+ Youth Skate Night
4th Annual Thursday, June 26
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Roller Magic, 60 Harvester Road, Waterbury, CT (Google Maps Link)
Youth LGBTQIA2S+ and family-friendly event. Come for the Roller Derby demo, the free-skate, or both. First 100 kids enter free, $13.50 for 18+ (buy advance tickets now!). Building is wheelchair accessible; one step down into rink. Directions, including bus directions in the Eventbrite FAQ
Co-sponsored by Equality CT, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, PFLAG Waterbury, and Stonewall Speakers.
